Meet Porter

We’ll both have a Porter, please.
My fiancé and I had been thinking of adding a dog to our two cat family now that we had a big yard and time to devote to a dog. I had been wanting a brindle, scruffy, male dog who was around 30-40 pounds, and he wanted a bigger dog, so we compromised and adopted Porter, a 65 pound brindle, scruffy male dog that had been transferred to PAWS from Texas.
Porter is fantastic! He was fostered before we adopted him so we already knew he was cat-friendly and house-trained. What we didn’t know was just how perfect he was. Porter’s favorite things include snuggles on the couch, belly rubs, hunting squirrels and rabbits in the backyard, walks, swimming, playing fetch (especially with squeaky balls) all followed by snoring loudly on the couch without a care in the world. 
Porter LOVES all people and eagerly greets anyone who wants to say hi. Halloween was his absolute favorite, since he got to say hello to all the trick or treaters.
